2017 Best Architectural Interior: The Signature House
2017 Best Out of State project: The Castle
The Signature House is located in the heart of New Hope, PA, an affluent, small town that sits on the banks of the Delaware River. Named by Travel + Leisure as one of “America’s Favorite Towns”, it is home to unique shops, galleries and antiques, riverside dining, cultural attractions, and impressive theater at the Bucks County Playhouse.
Driving through the center of New Hope, you experience a balance of old and new: the charm of a historic industrial town with stone farmhouses, barns and grist mills, combined with unique character of an artistic, eclectic, vibrancy to the town, making it a popular tourist attraction.
We are inspired by references to New Hope as the center for arts and artists. This began with the American Impressionist movement in the early to mid 1900s. The movement highlighted landscape paintings and created a “unified style” of a number of artists who become known for their paintings of local area like the Delaware River, the colorful village scenes, the views of mills, the expressionistic snowscapes and the Bucks County vistas.
